Started my second job yesterday. I'm working for a friend of the family that has her own embroidery business. And I like it. I've always been around sewing machines and the like because of my mother. So everything was so easy to learn! in fact, I shocked the hell out of my "boss" because I threaded two of the industrail embroidery machines all by myself yesterday and never asked for any help either. LOL! And they were fine too. It's just that as soon as you have gotten used to working with sewing machines, then you learn the basics and can easily figure stuff out. But it's easy work. Really fast paced though, but I enjoyed it. It's cool to watch a design go from the computer onto a garment, or hat, or whatever else it gets put on to. But doing it is like "painting" with a sewing machine and thread. It's cool. Might not be interesting to some people, but it's the artist in me that finds it fascinating. LOL! I'll be able to come up with my own designs and then put them onto stuff. And I've already got some awesome ideas. I also made some silk screen designs a few years back and they would really be cool embroidered onto a T-shirt. Kinda like my "Andy Warhol" version of a Bruce Lee picture that i did. WAY COOL! And also the Elvis and James Dean designs I silk screened a long time ago!! Can't wait til she lets me do that kind of stuff. She's and awesome lady and told me that she wants me to learn EVERYTHING!! LOL!
